CR Energy is a UK leader in the provision of Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s). Since its inception in 2006 the company has developed a strong reputation for a fast, efficient service within this emerging market.

Developed to meet demand for Domestic & Commercial Energy Assessments, the 300+ strong CR Energy team is committed to playing a key role in meeting the Government’s pledge to reduce carbon emissions to close to zero by 2050. The team has already completed more than 40,000 EPC’s on UK homes to date as well as hundreds of commercial sites.

As a result of these contacts CR Energy is poised to take a senior position within the emerging EPC market worth hundreds of millions of pounds per annum.

How?

CR Energy boasts nationwide coverage thanks to a dedicated network of qualified assessors. The team, all managed through HQ in Lancashire, handle EPC’s for residential, lettings and commercial clients as well as for Local Authorities, Banks, Building Societies and Registered Social Landlords. Through an extensive network of introducers and corporate strategic alliances, CR Energy is also able to deliver high quality EPC’s within agreed Service Level Agreements.

CR Energy’s investment in the latest technology offers clients the opportunity to fully integrate with the business in a paperless, transparent environment in terms of workload and status reporting.

CR Energy also now undertakes over 100 assessments on commercial buildings per week and is frequently referred by law clients to clients seeking high speed delivery of EPC’s at all levels (3, 4 and 5).

What next?

Business development is well underway to provide national coverage of qualified Assessors for the non-domestic market; this is to be assembled through new Assessors and continued professional development of existing Energy Assessors.  Assessors are managed by Area Managers in addition to National Managers and of course, our accreditation body Northgate.

To ensure client confidence with the assessments that we undertake, CR Energy carries £5,000,000 worth of Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Our venture with Mosaic Equity Partners in 2008 has given us a multi million pound investment in order to further enhance our offering in 2009 and to provide our clients with a stable, highly focused and expanding team of first class professionals. With the combined investment of £2.75 million into the company, CR Energy is well placed to become ‘the’ name in EPC provision.
