Some Facts
An Energy Performance Certificate, or EPC, is an assessment of a domestic properties’ performance rating in terms of its energy efficiency and environmental impact, to help reduce CO2 output. It takes into account factors such as insulation, heating and hot water systems, ventilation and fuels used, as well as the age of the property to produce the rating. An EPC is required when a property is sold or put up for rent/leased.
The energy efficiency rating is a measure of the overall efficiency of the home. The energy rating of your property will be graded A-G. A – being a high energy efficiency rating, G – being a poor energy efficiency rating. The higher the rating, the more efficient the home is and the lower the fuel costs are likely to be

- You will need to supply the property address for the EPC and, if this is different, your home address.
- Our standard process is to e-mail your EPC.
- Please specify if you require the EPC posting
- Please specify any additional information or requirements in the “Any comments” box, e.g. home address if different from property for EPC, preference for method of sending the EPC to you.
- Within 24/48 hours one of our team will make contact to arrange the appointment.
- Within 2 working days of the appointment you will receive your completed EPC.
